Social Workers’ Association Nepal (SWAN) is deeply concerned with the killings of civilians in Syria including children and women. It condemns the military operations resulting in the death of hundreds of innocent people. We urge to the concern authority to stops such activities of human rights violation. We believe that these actions against humanity will never resolve the problems. Therefore, we urge the concern authority to stops such actions against human and maintain human rights and security of civilians. We express solidarity with the International Association of Schools of Social Work and International Federation of Social Workers expressed commitment to its messages for peaceful engagement with social justice, opposing and condemning intolerance and violence.
